About

A quiet tool for loud days

Why this exists

A lot of pain doesn't need a professional — it needs a person, or ten minutes of calm, or a place to put what you're feeling. Therapy is precious and scarce. 3 a.m. doesn't wait for appointments. SoulSpace lives in that gap: anonymous peers, calm tools, and a private space to reflect, reachable in one tap.

What SoulSpace is not

  • Not therapy. Peers are trained by experience, not by licensure. Nothing here is diagnosis or treatment.
  • Not a crisis service. Nobody here can dispatch help. In a crisis, crisis lines are the serious answer — we'll always point you there.
  • Not an AI therapist. The help here is human connection and your own reflection. No chatbot will pretend to care about you.
  • Not a social network. No likes, followers, streaks, or metrics of pain. Vulnerability is not content.

Principles we build by

  • Honesty over comfort. No fake activity counts, no inflated privacy promises, no manufactured urgency.
  • Calm is a feature. Slow pacing, warm colors, no red alarms unless it's an emergency path.
  • Minimum data, maximum dignity. We can't leak what we never collect.
  • Leave lightly. Every screen lets you exit without explaining yourself.

The people

SoulSpace is a small open-source project, built and paid for by one maintainer with a day job. Reports are reviewed by that one human — so moderation is real but not instant, and we say so rather than pretend otherwise. The repository is public: github.com/ahmadrrrtx/SoulSpace.

If you can help

The biggest needs are feedback from people who've used peer-support products, safety review from folks with clinical or moderation experience, and eventually volunteer moderation. Reach out through the repository.

Ready when you are: talk to someone, find a calm minute, or check in with yourself.
